Francis & The Lights is the symbolic band name used by American performer and songwriter Francis Farewell Starlite. Their 2008 release A Modern Promise was met with instant industry-wide attention and led to their 2009 and 2010 tours with Drake, MGMT & La Roux. Francis & The Lights lay legitiamte claim to being the buzz band of the 2011 Soul'd Out Music Festival.
